Medicolegal

This interest Group (IG) is open to all OTA members working in or with an interest in medicolegal related occupational therapy. 

This is a group to: 

• Provide a forum for therapists working within the medicolegal area to discuss professional standards and guidelines for practice relevant to the field of practice
• Develop resources that will assist new therapists moving into the field of medicolegal work
• Provide evidence based training for expert therapists providing medicolegal reports that are consistent with the occupational therapy philosophy and ethics as well as the Expert Witness Code of Conduct relevant for each state
