NDIS Webinar with DSC: The ABC'S of the NDIS
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with DSC to provide NDIS specific webinars this year to support you when working in the NDIS and ensure you keep up to date with the latest information, changes and top tips.
DSC are leaders in the industry when it comes to knowing all about the NDIS. The DSC team is made up of NDIS experts sharing their knowledge, know-how and lived-experience.
Our first webinar with DSC is ‘The ABC’s of the NDIS’.
This webinar will provide an overview of the NDIS and all the important parts you need to know as an occupational therapist. The webinar will assist you to understand all of the key NDIS terminology, players, principles and concepts and much more, making it that much easier to navigate the complexity of the NDIS.

What is the NDIS?
- NDIS Key Principles and Concepts
- NDIS Key Roles & Players (including the role of a support coordinator, plan manager, local areas co-ordinator & planner)
- Hierarchy of NDIS Information (Legislation, Applied Principles & Tables of Support (APTOS), Price Guide, Operational Guidelines)
- NDIS Reasonable & Necessary Criteria
- NDIS Funding Types and Plan Flexibility
- NDIS Terminology
- NDIS Registration (when you need to be registered and for what supports)
THIS SESSION IS SUITABLE FOR
Suitable for OTs new to working in the NDIS or experienced OTs keen to have a refresher about the NDIS.
PRESENTER
Dr. Kylie Morgan
Kylie Morgan is part of the DSC team. She is known as a NDIS brainiac and is doubly brainiac-y on all things NDIS mental health. Kylie has over 15 years experience working in the mental health, disability and aged care sectors. She has extensive experience designing, implementing and evaluating mental health programs. Kylie brings her experience as a carer of her brother-in-law to her work. Additionally, through her work, Kylie has developed advanced skills in the management and development of staff, program design and establishment, stakeholder and consumer engagement, and budget management.
