*Graduate memberships are valid for a maximum of 2 years
Affiliate
Affiliate membership was designed for people who are not currently practising occupational therapy but still want to engage with the profession and community.
Eligibility
Affiliate membership is for people who are not currently working as an OT but would like to stay involved with OTA, its community and support the profession for the future.
To be eligible for affiliate membership, you:
- Are currently on extended leave longer than 12 months
- You are a postgraduate student of any OT program but not currently working in the field
- You are an internationally qualified OT not working in Australia who has graduated from a WFOT recognised course or program.
*Affiliate members do not require AHPRA registration
Student
Student memberships were created to support students as they complete their studies and transition into the graduate community. We're here to help you navigate your early career as an occupational therapist.
Eligibility
To be eligible for student membership, you:
- Study an undergraduate level program recognised by AHPRA and WFOT++
- Have registered as a student with AHPRA.
*Student memberships expire annually on 31 January ++Postgraduate students are not eligible for student membership, but are eligible for the discounted Affiliate membership
