Program Overview
SUMMARY
Many occupational therapists (OTs) take advantage of the opportunity to start their own practice, some as solo practitioners and some with aims of developing a larger multi-disciplinary practice. This toolkit has been created to provide practical tips, tools and resources to support new and existing private practice owners in the early stages of their private practice journey. The toolkit is a self-directed resource that you can work through at your own pace, as you need it. Put simply, this is a toolkit of information, strategies & resources to support you to set your private practice business up for success.

SUITABLE FOR
Occupational therapists who are new to or in the early stages of setting up a private practice business.
This resource is intended for experienced occupational therapists.

AUTHORSHIP:
The Private Practice Toolkit has been created by OTA in conjunction with subject matter experts in the fields of business/accounting, insurance, recruitment, marketing, law and resilience.
ACCESS:
Registrants can access the Toolkit at any time following payment.
The Toolkit is run through OTA’s internal learning platform. All registrants will receive an email containing information on how to access the Toolkit for 6 months from purchase date.
Participants will be assigned 6 months to access the Toolkit.
CPD Hours
None. This is a resource rather than a CPD as such. Registrants will need to consider if any of their learning meet the AHPRA criteria. It is mostly business content rather than clinical content so not a lot would be likely to meet the AHPRA criteria

This is a self-paced resource that can be accessed on-demand. Participants will have 6 months access from the date of purchase.
