This group aims to:

  • Connect OTs across Australia interested in animal assisted therapy and assistance dogs
  • Link OTs working in the space and to provide information and education for those interested in learning more and getting involved in animal assisted therapy or assistance dogs

Madeleine Flynn (Inspirit Therapy)

Presenter

Madeleine is a specialist Mental Health Occupational Therapist, having completed extensive postgraduate training in play therapy, individual, family and group therapy utilizing a variety of frameworks. She has previously worked in child/youth/family mental health in both community and hospital settings as a play therapist, conducting life skills training, experiential and psychotherapy groups and family work. She has been managing her own extensive farm menagerie, and rewilding their property since 1999 as well as working in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
