Any member of Occupational Therapy Australia who works in Mental Health, or who has an interest in Occupational Therapy practice in the area of Mental Health, is eligible to join this Special Interest Group and attend these meetings.
To provide a peer network for occupational therapists working in mental health via:
- Professional Support
- Professional Development/Education
- Generating research ideas and encouraging clinicians to explore clinical questions.
- Providing consultation to the Association and/or external bodies, as relevant, in order to represent the needs, views and skills of occupational therapists working in mental health, whilst striving to promote our expertise and develop new opportunities.
