CPD Presenter EOI
CPD Presenter EOI
The Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) CPD program is an evidence-based, peer-reviewed program that covers a wide range of practice areas, clinical expertise and career development stages. Our CPD program offerings are reviewed by an independent panel of experts OTs, who assess the content to ensure it provides evidence-based practice that is relevant to the profession.
OTA's accessible and relevant professional education is delivered through webinars, workshops and online learning resources, assisting OTs to develop their skills, share knowledge and build connections.
We are now accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) to present CPD as part of our 2023/2024 program and have outlined below the process of what information is needed to make an EOI for consideration by our Peer Advisory Panel. Initially, please send us some basic information about your CPD idea/offering. If it fits with our Program we will be in touch with the links to proceed
A webinar is where the presenter(s) deliver the content without input from attendees. Attendees can be invited to submit questions via text using Q&A functions only and will be read out / responded to by the presenter(s). Webinars generally run for 1-2hrs.
Workshops: Face-to-Face is when all content is delivered in person, in a classroom style setting and may include activities or be in a lecture style. Only course materials & end of course satisfaction surveys are made available online. Workshops that require eLearning style activities for pre, post and/or during the workshop are classified as Blended Learning and require participants to have an electronic device available.
Workshops: Online is where all content is delivered via video conferencing and may include activities or be in a lecture style. Workshops: Online may also include eLearning activities but is not classified as blended learning.
eLearning is online modules and activities created by the presenter and completed within a Learning Management System (LMS). eLearning produces a certificate once a passing grade or completion rate is met. This could include a Pre-recorded Video.
Pre-recorded Videos are of the presenter delivering content without participants present. This can be incorporated with any activities or surveys to be completed once the content has been viewed as part of eLearning.
