How will this webinar enable participants to work occupationally with clients/patients?
This webinar will provide participants with theoretical frameworks that underpin Occupational Therapy interventions in the field of Occupational Rehabilitation. It will also provide examples of the application of these theories within the caseload/work of a clinician who is working in the Occupational Rehabilitation field. In addition, practical information will be provided to facilitate further learning and exploration in the area of Occupational Rehabilitation.

Dr Eli Chu
Eli Chu is a registered occupational therapist with more than twenty years of clinical experience in Hong Kong and Australia, in both public and private health settings. She is experienced providing occupational therapy and leading multidisciplinary teams rehabilitation and ambulatory care. Eli specialised in chronic pain management; rehabilitation for adults with rheumatism, neurological conditions, spinal cord injuries and complex geriatric care. Eli is experience in developing and delivering curriculum in occupational rehabilitation.
Eli joined Australian Catholic University in 2013 and Monash University in 2017. She coordinates teaching units in professional practice and occupational therapy interventions for Occupational Therapy undergraduate program. She is experienced in developing and implementing innovative teaching and learning experiences for students that includes use of simulation and experiential learning. Eli is experienced in mixed methods research and curriculum design in rehabilitation, health related quality of life and higher education. She received multiple teaching and learning grants as lead or co-investigators to evaluate effectiveness of various teaching methods that includes use of role-play, simulations and computer assisted scenario-based learning.
Suzanne graduated as an Occupational Therapist from Latrobe University in 1992 and subsequently completed a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Australia in 2002. She has worked in Australia primarily but also in Canada and the UK. Her particular areas of interest are Pain Management and Occupational Rehabilitation. She is currently working in Occupational Rehabilitation providing services to people with work related physical and mental health injuries.
