OTA will be hosting an online Q&A Webinar following Professor Mandy Stanley delivering the Sylvia Docker Lecture at OTA's 31st National Conference in Adelaide in June 2025.

OTA is delighted to announce that, following Professor Mandy Stanley’s wonderful lecture ‘Connection and Collaboration Through Occupation’, on Thursday, 26 June at OTA’s 31st National Conference & Exhibition 2025, we will be hosting an online Q&A Webinar for you to further interact with Mandy’s expertise.

A certificate of attendance will be issued upon completion of the full course. Please allow up to 48 hours for the certificate to appear in your CPD tracker.

Professor Mandy Stanley
Mandy Stanley is Honorary Professor in Occupational Therapy at Edith Cowan University and holds an adjunct position with the University of South Australia. Mandy is recognised by her peers as an inspirational leader in occupational therapy and has an international reputation for her expertise in qualitative research methodologies. She is known for her sustained contributions to occupational science and occupational therapy education which was recognised in 2020 being awarded as a Fellow of OT Australia Research Academy. She has attracted over $7 million in research funding including category 1 and has published more than 120 journal articles and book chapters. Mandy was involved with the Journal of Occupational Science for nearly 30 years including chairing the Editorial Board. She has a passion for research which seeks the perspective of those with lived experience and for developing research capacity in occupational therapists. Mandy has supervised many higher degree and honours students and has collaborated with researchers in Sweden, Ireland, New Zealand, Thailand, India and Canada.
