OVERVIEW

This Interest Group is open to all OTA members working in or with an interest in the area of Soft Tissue.

These groups provide opportunities for networking professional development and education.

Specific topics of interest within Soft Tissue context include, but are not limited to:

• Represent and promote soft tissue occupational therapy as an area of practice.
• Provide students and new graduates pathways to join the area of practice.
• Discuss professional development opportunities, current research, and case studies.
• Provide opportunities for networking and general discussion.
• Consult with the association and relevant government department to develop guidelines for soft tissue occupational therapy.

TOPIC:

Soft Tissue OT SIG 2026 Planning & Networking Session 

This session will be an opportunity for soft tissue OTs to connect, introduce themselves, and build relationships within this growing area of practice. Well also discuss what members would most like to gain from the SIG this year, including topics of interest, clinical challenges, professional support, networking, and future learning opportunities.
