This OTA webinar will provide an overview of Tina Champagne’s Sensory Modulation Program Component 2b: Sensorimotor Activities & Group Work. During this webinar Tina Champagne will provide a live demonstration of the components of sensorimotor groups, demonstrating how to facilitate use within your own OT practice setting and across age ranges. Explore how sensorimotor groups are used to support occupational participation.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this session, you will be able to:
- Describe the therapeutic value of sensorimotor activities in group work
- Adapt and apply sensorimotor activities in group work.
- Identify resources to support the facilitation of your own sensorimotor groups in practice
- Identify how sensorimotor groups are used to support occupational participation
- Recognise the importance of collaborating with family, carers and support people about sensorimotor activities to enhance occupational participation and daily life.
