Complaints and incidents are an inevitable part of working in the NDIS—but how you respond can make all the difference. This webinar will help you build clarity and confidence in managing incidents when things don’t go to plan.

  • Key legal and regulatory obligations, including WHS, Workers Compensation, the NDIS Code of Conduct, Rules and Practice Standards 

  • Identification and reporting - how to manage the initial reporting and information-gathering stage 

  • What assessments and investigations involve—and when they’re needed 

  • The value of involving workers and participants in reviewing what went wrong 

  • Strategies to reduce the risk of reoccurrence and support continuous improvement 

  • How to review and confirm your systems are compliant and working as they should

Therese comes to Team DSC with over 25 years experience in the sector across a range of government, consulting and provider roles. She has played key roles throughout Victoria's progression towards individualised funding, including design and initial implementation of self-directed funding at the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) and supporting the establishment of the Barwon NDIS pilot site. In her day job, Therese runs an NDIS provider business and specialises in consulting and training in behaviour support and quality and compliance.
