OVERVIEW

The Central West NSW Interest Group aims to provide a platform for occupational therapists in the region to connect, share knowledge and foster professional development. Building on its history of meaningful peer collaboration and networking, the group seeks to address the ongoing need for support and shared learning among therapists working in this geographically dispersed area.

Objectives:

1. Professional Collaboration: Facilitate regular discussions on practice-related issues relevant to occupational therapists in the Central West region.
2. Peer Support: Provide a forum for members to seek guidance, share challenges and celebrate successes in their professional practice.
3. Knowledge Sharing: Promote the dissemination of evidence-based practices and new developments in occupational therapy.
4. Networking: Strengthen connections between occupational therapists in the region to build a more cohesive and supportive professional community.
5. Skill Development: Organise learning opportunities, including presentations, workshops and case discussions tailored to the unique needs of the region.
