This OTA recorded webinar provided an overview of Tina Champagne’s Sensory Modulation Program Component 5b: Environmental Enhancements: Sensory Kits & Carts focuses on how to support consumers in the use of sensory supportive strategies as mobile, accessible tools for therapeutic use across settings and age ranges. Tina Champagne discussed how to co-create personalised sensory kits to support occupational participation for individuals and groups, especially in settings where sensory supportive spaces may not be feasible or readily accessible. This session showcased examples from different populations and environments, providing practical tips for ensuring that kits and carts align with individual’s sensory modulation-related needs and occupational goals. Participants gained insights into how sensory kits and carts can be used to enhance occupational participation and to support prevention, crisis intervention, and supportive daily routines.
