History
Occupational Therapy Australia was formed in 2009 after national members voted to consolidate all divisions within the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists (AAOT) to form Occupational Therapy Australia Limited.

Timeline
The first Occupational Therapists Club forms in 1944 and later renames itself as the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists (AAOT) in 1945.
Victorian Division forms.
New South Wales and Queensland Divisions form.
Federal Association forms.
Western Australia forms a separate division.
All state associations become state members of the federal body.
South Australian Division formed.
Tasmanian Division forms.
Australian Capital Territory Division forms.
Northern Territory Division forms.
National members vote to consolidate all divisions within the AAOT to form Occupational Therapy Australia Limited.
