NDIS: Allied Health Community and Disability Workshops

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) have partnered with the Boosting the Local Care Workforce (BLCW) program to present this free workshop. The workshop is designed for practitioners and organisations that deliver or utilise Allied Health services, and is also suitable for Allied Health students studying to be Allied Health Professionals or for Allied Health Assistants.

Guest presenters will share contemporary approaches service delivery, including the use of Allied Health Assistants and Tele-practice. The event is also an opportunity for allied health providers to hear an update from the NDIA provider and market engagement representatives on the current price guide and information on the recently updated health related support.

The afternoon will be interactive workshops aimed to facilitate:

  • Development of locally lead solutions
  • Exploring how organisations can contribute to ensuring on-going access to allied health services
  • Understanding how allied health professionals can build viable and sustainable services
  • Networking Allied Health students to Service Providers
