Now Open: Nominate an OT for the 2020 Australian Mental Health Prize

The Australian Mental Health Prize celebrates Australians who make outstanding contributions to the promotion of mental health, or the prevention/treatment of mental illness.

As we experience the social and economic impacts of COVID-19, which affect our mental health and wellbeing, this year’s Prize is more important than ever. This Prize will help to recognise the vital work that many Australians are contributing to improve mental health.

OTA encourages members to nominate occupational therapists who have a positive impact in mental health. To be shortlisted or to win the Prize is a great honour and it would be fantastic for an occupational therapist to be involved this year.

Ita Buttrose AC OBE, Chair of the Australian Mental Health Prize Advisory Group, will announce the finalists on Monday 26 October. The winner of the Prize will be announced at a gala event in November.
