Seeking Feedback: Mental Health and Dietetic Clinical Practice and Training Standards

OTA is seeking members' feedback on the Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders Draft Mental Health and Dietetic Clinical Practice and Training Standards for the Treatment of Eating Disorders.

The Australia & New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED) have released Draft Mental Health and Dietetic Clinical Practice and Training Standards for the Treatment of Eating Disorders for public consultation.

The draft Standards outline clinical practice and training standards for mental health clinicians and dietitians in the field of eating disorders in Australia and New Zealand. The Standards propose the knowledge, skills and experience that mental health clinicians and dietitians require to competently manage and treat patients with an eating disorder. The Standards also outline criteria for assessing relevant training programs that provide education on the therapeutic knowledge and skills outlined in the Standards.

The draft Standards can be accessed by clicking here.

OTA invites members to provide their feedback on the ANZAED draft Standards to amanda.jarasius@otaus.com.au by COB Wednesday 16 October 2019.
