Seeking your Views: TAC Occupational Therapy Assessments
The OT@Deakin Research Group is currently undertaking a project for the Transport Accident Commission, reviewing assessments used by occupational therapists. After a series of consultations, they will make recommendations for the adoption of a new suite of assessment tools. These new tools should reflect contemporary practice in occupational therapy, with a focus on the transport accident insurance context. No identifying information from consultations will be included in the review.
Forms included in the review are:
- Equipment prescription form
- Functional independence assessment: attendant care and allied health services recommendations
- Occupational therapy functional independence review
- Overseas attendant care request form
- Occupational therapy: home services needs assessment
- Occupational therapists: Client home modifications assessment
- Transport needs assessment
- Vehicle needs and modifications assessment
- Allied health treatment and recovery plan
