Workshop Invitation (WA): The Framework for Mental Health in Multicultural Australia
Are you looking for ways to build the cultural responsiveness of your practice or service? Would you like to learn more about what tools and resources are available to support you?
Embrace Multicultural Mental Health is holding a workshop in Perth on Thursday 5 March 2020 to provide Mental Health services, Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and individual practitioners an overview of the newly redeveloped Framework for Mental Health services in Multicultural Australia.
This will provide an opportunity for services to consider how they can improve their cultural responsiveness to people from culturally diverse backgrounds, as well as strategies and tips in using the Framework.
The workshop will suit managers, service providers and mental health professionals.
Mental Health Australia is partnering with the Federation of Ethnic Communities Council of Australia (FECCA) and the National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) to deliver the project. The Project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health.
