We all know CPD is an important part of evolving as an OT, but it can be tricky to find the time. And to meet Ahpra registration requirements, all OTs must complete at least 20 hours of CPD each year by 30 November, which will come around quickly.
Don't worry, our top 3 tips will help you get your CPD on track.
1. Look ahead and lock it in
At OTA we plan our CPD offerings months ahead and publish them on our website as soon as they're confirmed. Use the search function on our website, check out our 3 month planner in Connections, or browse our live workshops and live webinars.
2. Choose your own adventure
Perhaps you like to study when the kids have gone to bed? Or for a couple of hours each Sunday? You're passionate about CPD but it's too hard to commit to live online sessions and face-to-face events. Our on-demand CPD library sounds like the right choice for you.
3. Know what you need to do
Not sure exactly what is expected of you? We've put together CPD FAQs for OTs to make it easy to stay on top of your CPD requirements. Happy learning!
