State-Based Issues
We advocate across Australian states and territories to advance the recognition of OTs and address known issues affecting OTs and the people the support.

Member Priorities
Member priorities vary across each state and territory. We work with our Divisional Councils, and our broader membership, to understand local issues and opportunities.

Our Advocacy
- We engage with state and territory Chief Allied Health Officers.
- Run election campaigns ahead of state and territory elections advocating investments in the allied health workforce and improvements to local health systems, from the perspective of the OT profession.
- We make submissions to key inquiries and consultations related to our focus areas, informed by feedback from our members.

How you can help
We welcome feedback about your experience working in aged care and your ideas about how these services can be improved.
We will take your feedback to the government and key stakeholders to advocate for better outcomes for OTs, and the people you support.
