Sylvia Docker Lectureship Award
Make your mark. Share your impact. The Sylvia Docker Lectureship honours an occupational therapist who has made an outstanding and inspirational contribution to the profession through their practice, research, education or management. Applications are now open.
The successful recipient will be invited to deliver the keynote presentation at OTA’s 32nd National Conference and Exhibition 2027 in Melbourne, sharing their expertise, innovation and contribution with the occupational therapy profession.

The Sylvia Docker Lectureship is awarded by the Occupational Therapy Australia Board in recognition of the recipient’s high standing within the Australian occupational therapy profession.
The successful recipient will receive:
- Keynote speaking opportunity at OTA’s National Conference and Exhibition 2027
- Conference registration
- Travel to Melbourne if required
- Accommodation
Who can apply?
The award is open to all practising Australian occupational therapists who are OTA members.
