OT COMPREHENSIVE FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENTS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DISABILITY SECTOR
This webinar is designed for practitioners that are new to the NDIS. It will provide practitioners with a set of tools that they can draw upon to complete a functional capacity assessment.
Suitable for students, new graduates, and beginner Occupational Therapists.
- To understand how the NDIS is structured
- To understand the Occupational Therapist’s role in the NDIS
- To understand the purpose of a Comprehensive Occupational Therapy functional assessment and why they are completed in the NDIS
- To understand the processes involved when conducting a comprehensive Occupational Therapy functional assessment in the NDIS
Rachel is the director of Better Rehabilitation, a National Allied Health practice that works within the NDIS. Prior to starting Better Rehabilitation, Rachel lectured at the Australian Catholic University in Occupational Therapy and worked across a number of hospital and community settings.
