Purpose of study: We are interested in developing best practice guidance and resources to support occupational therapists to implement immersive virtual reality (iVR) into hospital-based practice. We have a specific focus on immersive virtual reality using a headset that is worn by the individual. We recognise that many occupational therapists and occupational therapy departments have experience with iVR and this study will collate information about how people are using iVR, barriers and enablers, and key resources and documents that support practice. From the information gathered we will develop and share a snapshot of iVR use in occupational therapy and best practice guidance for evidence-based and sustainable approaches to procure and implement iVR in occupational therapy practice.
Participation criteria: Occupational therapists working in Australian hospitals
