Review of the SA Mental Health Act 2009

The Mental Health Act 2009 (SA) is required to be reviewed every 5 years. The South Australian Law Reform Institute (SALRI) has been requested by the sate government to review the MHA 2009. As part of the review, the SALRI will be conducting consultation with relevant parties, professional, persons with lived experience and interested groups.

SALRI want to hear from you about your experiences in using, accessing and dealing with the Mental Health Act 2009 (SA) and ways in which the law and practice can be improved.
