Clinical Practice Guidelines to improve function in Cerebal Palsy
New International Clinical Practice Guidelines to improve physical function in children and young people with cerebral palsy have recently been published. These guidelines provide practical strategies for therapists working in the field of cerebral palsy.

The guidelines include best practice principles focussed on meaningful client-centred goals, the importance of whole task practice and engaging and empowering families. Specific evidence-based recommendations are made for interventions when a child has a goal related to hand use, self-care, leisure or mobility.

You can access the full guideline and all supporting documentation here

Information sheets for clinicians and families have also been developed, and are available in a number of languages. These can be freely accessed here
