INTRODUCTION TO FUNCTIONAL ASSESSMENTS: NDIS
This two-part webinar series is designed for practitioners that are new to the NDIS. It will provide practitioners with a set of tools that they can draw upon to complete a functional capacity assessment.
Suitable for Students, New Graduate, and Beginners.
- An understanding of the appropriate terminology and language to use when writing a functional capacity assessment report
- An understanding of how the NDIS is structured
- An understanding of the assessments and processes to use when conducting a functional assessment
By the end of this webinar series, Occupational Therapists should be able to complete a functional capacity assessment in line with the NDIS guidelines.
Rachel Brimblecombe is the director of Better Rehabilitation, a National Allied Health practice that works within the NDIS. Prior to starting Better Rehabilitation, Rachel lectured at the Australian Catholic University in Occupational Therapy and worked across a number of hospital and community settings.
