This foundational course builds cultural understanding, self-awareness, and respectful engagement with First Nations peoples, supporting OTs in providing culturally responsive professional practice and ongoing development.

Program Overview

Understanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures is a foundation-level learning experience developed by Centre for Cultural Competence Australia (CCCA). The session introduces you to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, and perspectives, supporting the development of cultural understanding, self-awareness, and respectful engagement with First Nations peoples.
