Study's full title: Advancing the use of telehealth technology by occupational therapists to provide home safety risk assessments for community dwelling older people

Purpose of the study: This project aims to address three questions:

  1. What technology tools are occupational therapists using to perform telehealth home safety risk assessments for community dwelling adults?

  2. What home safety risk assessment tools are occupational therapists currently using to perform telehealth home safety risk assessments for community dwelling older adults?

  3. What assessment tools and other facilitators are required to advance the use of telehealth by occupational therapists to provide telehealth home safety risk assessments?

There are two parts to this research. Part 1 is an online survey, which will take you approximately 20-30 minutes to complete. At the end of this survey, you will be invited to volunteer for Part 2, which includes a follow-up individual interview of approximately30 minutes. You can participate in the survey only, or you can choose to complete both the survey and the follow-up interview.

Participation criteria: AHPRA registered occupational therapists who conduct home visits on a regular basis.
