WA Round Table & Member Networking Event

OTA CEO Samantha Hunter and her team joined a selected group of local OTA members from WA including representatives from Perth's major hospitals, universities and members of OTA Divisional Councils and National Reference Groups for an update and roundtable discussion focused on challenges and opportunities for OTs in WA.

50+ members then joined the OTA team to connect over sunset drinks and canapes at OTAs free member networking event.

Those in attendance were provided with updates on challenges and opportunities impacting the profession and initiatives that the association is working on that will provide support for OTs in WA.

Members heard about how OTA is addressing workforce issues across the country, new initiatives being developed to support early career OTs, and what we can expect on the horizon as the outcomes of the NDIS Review are implemented.

There was lots of excitement about the upcoming events in Perth, including the Tina Champagne Tour and OT Exchange Perth.
