Media on NDIS Pricing

Members may have seen some media stories recently about allied health professionals and the remuneration they receive from the NDIS.

We immediately wrote to Minister Shorten strongly objecting to any lowering of fees and are seeking a meeting to advocate for our members.

OTA sees the continuation of fair and appropriate remuneration by the NDIA as integral to ensuring clients can keep accessing services that enable them to engage in meaningful and productive activities to achieve outcomes in areas such as work, daily living, social participation, learning and relationships.

An erosion of appropriate remuneration is not in the best interests of the NDIA, its participants or the longevity of the profession working within the scheme. OTA is actively engaging with the NDIA and the Minister’s office in support of the profession.
