National Safety and Quality Primary Healthcare Standards

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is developing National Safety and Quality Primary Healthcare (NSQPH) Standards. As a participant in the Commission’s 2019 public consultation on safety and quality issues in primary health care, they are keen to hear your views on the draft NSQPH Standards. 

Have your say Visit their website before 27 November 2020 to review the draft standards and tell us what you think by:

  • Completing a short online voting poll
  • Providing a written submission, or   
  • Participating in an online consultation forum.

What are the National Safety and Quality Primary Healthcare Standards? Developed in collaboration with primary healthcare providers, consumers, peak professional bodies and Primary Health Networks, the draft standards provide a national framework and strategies to improve safety and quality in primary healthcare, with a focus on delivering consumer-centred care.
